February 18, 1936 – February 6, 2017
Thomas L. Shuck, 80, passed away peacefully February 6, 2017.
Tom was born February 18, 1936 in Shenandoah, PA to the late Leo Francis and Helen (Romonosky) Shuck.
Left to cherish his memory are: his daughter, Valerie Noelle Cole of Santa Barbara, CA; and her mother, Angela Zaborska of Camarillo, CA; sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Ron Miller; three nephews, Derek Walley and Jonathan (Rhonda) Walley of Santa Rose, CA and Joel (Heather) Walley of Hopland, CA; four great-nieces, Poppy, Savannah, Maleah and Alora Walley; special friends Jeff and Rose Hill of Jefferson, OR, Donna (Gene Hill) Case of Albany, OR, and Barb Norris of South Bend; and several cousins.
Tom was a man of many talents and hobbies, which included being a winemaker and home brewer. He was an avid stamp and coin collector and crossword puzzle solver. He loved to bowl and play pool; and made many friends along the way.
Tom was also a man of faith, he attended Little Flower Catholic Church; and he had a heart for service. He proudly served in the Air Force for over 20 years. During that time, he was stationed in France, Germany, Japan, Greenland, Vietnam, and in the United States. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at Heritage Point; Julie Osberger; and Grace Hospice for their excellent care of Tommy.
A memorial service will be held on March 11th at Little Flower Catholic Church at 11:00am where friends may call after 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church What So Ever Fund.
