April 3, 1950 – April 21, 2021
Granger-Jean Louise Stumpf, 71, passed away peacefully April 21, 2021, after a lengthy illness. She was born April 3, 1950 to the late Walter and Phyllis (Evans) Henke.
On June 12, 1970, Jean married the love of her life, William J. Stumpf. He preceded her in death in 2011. Left to cherish her memory are two children, Kevin Stumpf of Granger, and Kim (Jerry) Beyer of South Bend; her brother, Darryl Henke of Muscatine, Iowa; and the greatest joys of her life, her grandsons, Alexander and Owen Stumpf.
Jean was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She always provided a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and the best advice, when needed. She was a gifted pianist and organist and enjoyed teaching for many years. She was a member of the Piano Teacher’s Association. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Private services and burial will take place.
Memorial donations may be made, in Jean’s name, to Riverbend Cancer Services.
