Evelyn Anita Rosenstein

                                   July 3, 1926 – August 16, 2021

Evelyn Anita Rosenstein, formerly of South Bend, passed away in Boynton Beach, Florida on Monday, August 16th. She was 95. Evelyn was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 3, 1926 to the late Raymond and Blanche (nee King) Levine.
Left to cherish Evelyn’s memory are her children, Richard (Susan) Rosenstein and Jan (Harold) Glick; grandchildren, Joshua (Natalie) Rosenstein, Andrew Rosenstein (Mollie Hayward), Jennifer (Michael) Bails and Randi (David) Nathenson; and great-grandchildren: Ilyssa and Sylvie Bails, and Jesse, Zachary and Micah Nathenson. She was particularly adored by her adult grandchildren and her great-grandchildren, who she visited often.
She made her home and raised her children in South Bend with her husband of 44 years, Stanley Rosenstein, who died in 1991.
Evelyn attended the University of Chicago. She was a longtime active member of Sinai Synagogue in South Bend, and was also active in the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley in South Bend. She was known to be an avid golfer all of her adult life.
Graveside services and burial for Evelyn will take place Friday, Aug. 20, at 11 a.m., at the Hebrew Orthodox Cemetery, Mishawaka, Indiana. The funeral will be live- streamed with Zoom.
